Rating System

When we sign member businesses to our network, they agree to participate in a criteria based rating system that allows you to quickly identify the practices each company has put in place to reduce their waste stream and CO2 emissions.

GreenMoversUSA.com also takes into consideration plans by companies to incorporate environmental strategies in the future, and encourage our members to list those efforts as well.

Our Member Compliance Rating System

Four Trees—Three Trees Plus:
A carbon offsetting program:
All moving companies consume carbon during their daily operations, from fuel to shrink wrap to the lights in the warehouse. There are ways to offset a portion of that carbon use through the purchase of offsets. Carbon offsets are financial instruments representing a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. On the level of transportation companies it is a voluntary act that attempts to mitigate the emissions created during the course of normal daily operations. We support this as well as contributions to carbon neutral concerns, such as city parks, or a local bike purchasing program.
